Events produce a lot of useful information and companies keep almost none of it. People have good conversations, forget the details, and send follow-ups a week too late. Most of the work behind an event is still manual: building the invite list, chasing RSVPs, sorting and distributing media for guests, writing follow-ups etc. Pavoot is a YC-backed startup automating that work with AI agents. The lessons come from several customer events and user interviews. Two of those customers are live as we speak: this AI+X summit, and the Zurich Film Festival. This talk, by Pavoot's founders, covers the problems that show up at every event, which of them AI solves, and which we decided not to automate.
